Major Line Movements in CFB Week 2

Major line movements week 2 college football

Week 2 is already here. It’s time to get into the nitty gritty and make those final selections and place those bets. It’s a good idea not to “bet the board” and to only stick with the games you feel very confident about. It’s also a good idea to see which way the public is betting on a marquee game as well as what the sharps are doing. Finally, it’s a good idea to see all line movements from when they opened to what they are now.

Did the line move the same way as the lopsided betting, or has it stayed the same? Or, even rarer, has the line moved against the action and sharps in what we call “reverse line movement”? If something feels fishy then lay off. After all, it’s your hard-earned money and you don’t want to waste on something you will later say “I knew something was fishy about that line”.

Check the weather and injury reports. These are key when betting football games. Are the field conditions bad? This favors a running game. Is there alot of wind? This also favors the running game. Clear day with a nice field and no wind? The passing team has the advantage.

Pick two, three or four games for the day. Make sure they are your strongest plays and lay off the iffy ones.

Below you can find a list of all major line moves this week.
